James Beaudoin is an applications developer and is the manager of GetFacts (http://www.getfacts.wisc.edu), an online mapping application for interactively visualizing and downloading Census data. He holds a B.S. in Geography with an emphasis on community planning from the University of Wisconsin -Whitewater (1996). His areas of focus include online community data systems, community planning, GIS and interactive online data systems. He is also heavily involved in Wisconsin’s Redistricting project. In 2000 he developed the data collection tool for the 2000 Redistricting project and is presently working on a web based solution for the 2010 Redistricting project.
